Loved this recipe!! It was so easy and tasty. I wouldn’t have thought to add vanilla, but it really adds to the flavor. I didn’t have any citrus fruits to zest so I added 1/2 tbsp of lemon juice. I really liked the texture of the topping. I do think using regular oats vs quick oats made a difference. I will be making this again!! I might even try adding rhubarb to the strawberries for a twist.

Absolutely delicious. Saw this post this morning and pulled some strawberries out of the freezer and made this. Had some orange zest left from the holidays. Will definitely make again – next time with fresh berries. Thanks for another great recipe

Do you know the nutrition numbers for the strawberry crisp? If carbs are low enough we diabetics would enjoy it.
